Bandits Update

Well, the Bandits have a meeting with the St. Croix Valley Conference on Sunday the 27th in River Falls. Hopefully there will be no snags in getting into the league. We are fairly confident that it will be a quick and easy process.

Bandits season is soon going to be rolling around the corner. Tryouts for the Bandits will commence sometime in late April to mid May (more on that in upcoming news posts).

The Bandits are also looking for volunteers for games on running concessions. Anyone who would like to participate can contact Jim Rochford at jrjr@trollhaugen.com or Scott Lindholm at scoofoo23@hotmail.com. We will probably have 12-15 home games so we need volunteers to help our cause!

Troy DeSmet is the official champion of Bandits Fantasy Football this year. Congrats Troy on pulling off the upset vs. Trevor Todd's team of superstars.

Thats all the news for now, more to come after the SCVC meeting!

Offseason Filled with talks of New Fields and New Conference

The St. Croix River Bandits are in search of a future field for their new organization. The team finished the season 12-19, and went 10-7 down the final stretch of the season. The Bandits are also considering going from the Eastern Minny League to the St. Croix Valley Conference. SCVC includes team such as Osceola, New Richmond, and Hudson.

Future Events for the Bandits won't likely start until next spring but we hope to have a Youth Baseball Camp in April/May and Try-outs in May as well. (anyone is welcome!) Check back for updates through-out the winter!

Game Recap - Rochford Rocked as Bandits Lose to Bulldogs.

More to come as time permits....it was a blow-out

Rochford threw 91 pitches in 3 innings and gave upwards of 11 earned runs. Bandits got their first baserunner and hit in the 7th and final inning. Trevor Todd recorded a walk and Troy DeSmet wound up with a broken bat infield single. SS Chad Hollister from Chisago was all over the place taking away hits from the Bandits.
