The Bandits (0-2) hit the road in search of their first victory on Wednesday, traveling to Princeton to play the Panthers (1-1 conf., 2-2). Kyle Kahl is the expected starting pitcher for the Bandits making his first start of the year. The bandits shelled out 15 hits and 6 runs in their first game of the season, but in their last game they struggled to get a rally going in any inning and left 10 runners stranded.
The Princeton Panthers had a good 15-5 record in conference last season, led by star-IF Jesse Zimmer. Zimmer is off to a torrid start this season going 7/12 with a homerun and a double. Princeton has had a long line of successful seasons, making the MN State Tournament every year from 1998-2005.
