Game Recap - Bandits Give Up Only 3 Earned, but Lose by 7 to Braves

The St. Croix River Bandits (7-14, 10-19) are still trying to find there way in their inaugural season. The Bandits lost 14-7 to the Osceola Braves on Saturday afternoon, in a game where they pounded out 9 hits and 7 runs, but unfortunately they made 6 fielding errors, which led to 11 unearned runs. "It was very disappointing, we always seem to play much below our level when we play the Braves." said Bandits player, Jim Rochford. Brandon Pederson took the mound for the Bandits and while he did allow 11 hits and walked 4, the Bandits had many chances to get out of jams with little damage done.

Scott Lindholm, Jesse Hartel, and Michael Chelberg contributed with 2 hits a piece. Jesse Hartel and Curtis Roebuck scored twice, and Preston Langer had 2 RBI.

The River Bandits just can't seem to play to their full potential when playing the Braves.
