Game Preview - Sunday 6/20/10 @ Hudson 1pm.

The St. Croix River Bandits (2-3, 4-7) hope to claw their way back to .500 in conference as they begin a week of four away games, starting at Hudson (3-2, 7-9) on Sunday. The Bandits are 1-3 lifetime versus the River Rats, having been outscored 37 to 11 in those four games. However, the last time these two teams met, the River Rats were riding a 10 game winning streak when they came into St. Croix Falls and were stunned by a score of 8-6.

The Bandits hope to recapture that magic on Sunday afternoon, and will be sending Trevor Todd to the mound. Todd has a 2-4 record this season with an ERA of 3.71. The Bandits will have the lineup intact that took down the River Rat team last season except it will be replacing 3 hitters that went a combined 2-11 in the game with fantasy baseball stud Michael VanderPlas (batting at a clip of .341), Deep Power threat Adam Lewis, and (hopefully) rookie Cory Gebhard.
