The St. Croix River Bandits (0-5, 1-9) took a step back Wednesday night, losing to the Osceola Braves 19-5 in seven innings. The Bandits had been playing good baseball for the last week and a half, yet with only one win to show for it. Michael Chelberg took the mound for the Bandits and pitched a fair game. Chelberg threw strikes, but the Bandits defense and some well hit balls put them in an early deficit.
The Bandits play a full week of baseball, Friday @ Isanti 7:30, Saturday @ Mora 2pm and 4:30pm, and at home versus Quamba 2pm.
More to come.
